In the event of an active shooter situation in our schools, our main focus is preservation of life. Our officers are trained to seek out, engage, and to stop the threat immediately upon arrival at any active shooter situation. That is EXACTLY what we were training for on Monday and Thursday of this past week at Chapel Hill High School. Along with the Douglasville Police Department and Douglas County School System Police Department the DCSO conducted active shooter training to ensure our readiness for any emergency situation on school grounds. #safeschools #training #dcso
