County of Douglas issued the following announcement on Nov. 23.
Douglas County Kicks off The Holiday Season with a Tree-Lighting Ceremony. Residents are invited to observe the event with their families and enjoy taking pictures in front of the 32-foot tree decorated with hundreds of lights and ornaments. The Tree-Lighting Ceremony will take place in front of the Douglas County courthouse on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 6:30 p.m.
