The Atlanta Falcons have signed cornerback Keith Taylor, as announced by the organization. Taylor joins the Falcons after a season with the Kansas City Chiefs, where he appeared in 11 games and recorded five tackles. He participated in 11% of defensive snaps and 47% of special teams snaps, highlighting his experience in both areas, though his primary experience is on special teams.

In 2023, Taylor was part of the Chiefs' practice squad but was elevated only once without playing in any games. Before joining Kansas City, he spent two seasons with the Carolina Panthers. During that time, he played all 34 games with five starts, accumulating 827 defensive snaps and 390 special teams snaps. His stats include 67 tackles—one for a loss—six pass breakups, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery.

Taylor entered the NFL when selected by the Panthers from the University of Washington in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft as the 166th overall pick. He is currently 26 years old, stands at six feet three inches tall, and weighs 195 pounds.

For the upcoming season, A.J. Terrell and Mike Hughes are returning as starting cornerbacks for Atlanta. Taylor will join other cornerbacks like Natrone Brooks and Clark Phillips III in competing for playing time.
