We were honored to participate in this special "swearing-in" ceremony. Thank you to Aurora Police Department for including us. #DCSO Undersheriff David Walcher and several other law enforcement agencies made Devarjaye "DJ" Daniel an honorary deputy/officer. Three years ago, DJ, who has terminal brain cancer, wished to be sworn in by 100 police agencies. Today, he has taken the Oath of Office over 750 times. His family says he was driven down this path due to a chance encounter with three Houston PD officers during Hurricane Harvey. Thank you, DJ, for allowing us to be part of your family, and welcome to ours!
