County Commissioners met Wednesday, March 8, for a work session about the budget process and community partner agreements. The budget timeline is:
• March-April - Community partners and county departments submit budget requests.
• March-June - Staff prepares a 2024 county budget and meets with community partners and county department leaders.
• Late June - Recommended budget delivered to County Commissioners.
• July - County Commissioners will discuss the budget during public hearings.
• August - County Commissioners adopt a 2024 budget.
