Tonight we held a Town Hall Meeting on our 2022 End of Year Report and Violent Crimes. The report discussed is made public each year to show transparency regarding the inner workings of the department. Violent crimes are always questioned when they happen where you live. When discussing recent crimes and the steps to keep from becoming a victim, these are ways of helping train our citizens. The Douglasville Police Department is taking steps to engage our community and we hope more people will continue to show up and get involved. #onewithourcommunity
