Today started our first session of our Youth Against Violence Program 2023 at the Douglasville Police Department, and we had 22 attendees. | Wikimedia Commons
The Douglasville Police Department is currently working an accident involving two cars on I-20 WB near Fairburn Rd which occurred just after 6am this morning. Tragically, this accident resulted in the death of one of the drivers. The westbound lanes of the interstate had to be closed to investigate the cause of the accident, which caused significant traffic delays in the area. The roadway is now open again. As this is an open investigation, we will not be releasing any further information at this time.
