Did you know? After you graduate from the police academy, you will spend two weeks with our training division before starting your on the road field training program. During those two weeks, you will spend time getting GCIC certified, reviewing policies and procedures, ASP, Taser, and OC spray, judgmental use of force simulator, administrative tasks preparing for the job ahead of you, and many other preparatory tasks. All of these tasks are necessary to prepare you for the FTO program and the training you are about to experience. Soon enough, you will get in a police car and begin to learn about being a Douglasville Police Patrol Officer! #onewithourcommunity
