Sarah Shuler, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office's Terminal Agency Coordinator, got an opportunity to be a "Community Helper" at South Douglas Elementary School last week. She explained to the children how to call 911 and what they need to know to help the dispatcher. She also taught them how to sign 911 in case they encounter someone who is hearing impaired.
