The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) participates in the clinical aspects of the patient care with all members of the healthcare team and law enforcement. Performs duties under the supervision of the RN, HSA, MidLevel Provider, Physician, or the administrative supervision of the HSA/HSC. Possesses knowledge and
ability to provide quality care as well as respond to needs within the correctional environment. Maintains
standard and ethics of nursing in accordance with applicable State Board of Nursing and other accrediting agencies.
Qualifications:
Graduate from a national or state approved school of nursing program. Holds and maintains a current
license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of employment. American Heart
Association BLS certified. Corrections experience a plus.
