Update-Homicide, Douglas Commons: At around 10:45pm on 7/6/22 officers responded to Douglas Commons shopping center for a person shot. One 21-year-old male victim suffered gunshot wounds and is deceased. Investigators found a large amount of suspected narcotics and cash in the crime scene. At this point investigators do not believe the victim has any ties to Douglas County. At least two individuals ran from the scene, one of which may have suffered a gunshot wound.
