Douglasville Ace Hardware to give away American flags

Douglasville Ace Hardware will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

Georgia lost 640 soldiers in the Korean war and 1,125 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 6530 Church St, Douglasville will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Old Campbell County Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Douglasville Ace Hardware while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Douglasville Ace Hardware is located at 6530 Church St, Douglasville, Georgia. This location is owned by Seth Yancey, represented by Luke Pullen and managed by Bubba Nation.
