Arbor Montessori School issued the following announcement on March 9.
In 1970, a group of women educators met and founded what would become Arbor Montessori School. They were empowered by the work of another woman—Maria Montessori, one of Italy's first female doctors and a revolutionary educator. Today, we pay tribute to all of the strong women educators, leaders, and role models in our community. Thank you for all the work you do!
