County of Douglas issued the following announcement on Feb. 16.
Stewart-Stanley Elected Vice-President of the National Association of County Intergovernmental Relations Officials
Tiffany Stewart-Stanley, Douglas County Assistant County Administrator, was elected Vice-President of the National Association of County Intergovernmental Relations Officials (NACIRO) at the National Association of Counties (NACo) Legislative Conference on February 13, 2022. Stewart-Stanley previously served as secretary of the organization from 2020-to 2022.
“I am excited to represent Douglas County on the national level,” stated Stewart-Stanley. “It will be a great honor to serve in a leadership role while advocating for our nation’s counties and working towards innovative solutions to local problems.”
Stewart-Stanley will serve on the Executive Board of NACIRO from 2022-2024 alongside President Devon West (Broward County, Florida), Secretary Danny De Hoog (Maricopa County, Arizona), Treasurer Amanda Meere (Los Angeles County, California), and Immediate Past President Kareem Murphy (Hennepin County, Minnesota).
