City of Douglasville issued the following announcement on Aug. 30.
Thank you to all of the community and safety partners who helped the Douglasville PD put on the Hollis Street Jamboree. We are one with our community in Douglas County! Thank you Douglas County Sheriff's Office (Georgia), Douglas County District Attorney's Office, Douglas County Fire/EMS Department, Douglasville Parks and Recreation, Douglas County EMA, Connect Douglas, CORE, Douglas County Georgia Schools, Douglas County School System Police Department , Georgia Department of Community Affairs, The Pack Youth Inc, The Never Alone Clubhouse, Walmart Health, WellCare, and 100 Black Men of Douglasville for making this event a success!
