Atlanta Dream guard Rhyne Howard has been named a reserve for the 2025 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game. This announcement by the league highlights Howard’s third All-Star appearance in her four-season career, solidifying her reputation as one of the league’s most talented young players.

Howard is currently averaging 16.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game. She leads the league in made three-pointers with 49 and continues to be a significant contributor for the Dream on both offense and defense.

This season, Howard achieved several milestones. She became the fastest player in WNBA history to make 300 career three-pointers within just 114 games and is also noted as the second-youngest to reach this mark, closely following Diana Taurasi by only three days. Furthermore, she surpassed 2,000 career points, making her both the youngest and fifth player in Dream history to achieve this feat. On June 13, she scored an impressive 36 points and set a franchise record by tying a WNBA record with nine three-pointers.

Howard joins All-Star starter Allisha Gray as representatives from Atlanta at this year’s event. This marks Atlanta’s seventh occurrence of having multiple players selected for the All-Star Game in one season.

The upcoming AT&T WNBA All-Star Game will occur on Saturday, July 19 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The game will broadcast live on ABC at 8:30 p.m. ET as part of a weekend filled with various WNBA events such as the STARRY 3-Point Contest and Kia Skills Challenge on Friday, July 18 at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.

Team captains Caitlin Clark and Napheesa Collier will select their teams from available starters and reserves during a draft aired on ESPN’s special edition of WNBA Countdown on Tuesday, July 8 at 7 p.m. ET. Coaching Team Clark will be Cheryl Reeve of Minnesota Lynx while Sandy Brondello from New York Liberty will lead Team Collier.
