On Friday, May 16, former North Paulding High School standout Jessie Taylor’s current collegiate team the Mercer Bears lost 0-8 against the Florida Gators in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.
The game took place at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium at 5:30 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Florida Gators in the tournament.
The Mercer Bears’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 2:55 p.m. at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium.
The Atlanta Falcons have added four players—Brandon Walton, Layden Robinson, Ross Blacklock, and Daveren Rayner—after rookie minicamp tryouts. The team also released four others to make room on its roster.
