On Wednesday, April 2, former North Paulding High School standouts Jessie Taylor and Jessie Taylor’s current college team, the Mercer Bears, won 5-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Georgia Bulldogs.

The game took place at Jack Turner Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 1 p.m. at Hope Field against Wofford Terriers.
