On Saturday, April 12, former North Paulding High School standouts Jessie Taylor and Jessie Taylor’s current college team, the Mercer Bears, won 4-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the East Tennessee State Buccaneers.

The game took place at Betty Basler Field. This was their first matchup against the Buccaneers this season.

The Bears’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 3 p.m. at Betty Basler Field against East Tennessee State Buccaneers.
