On Wednesday, April 23, former North Paulding High School standout Sanaa Thompson’s current college team, the North Carolina Tar Heels, won 12-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Norfolk State Spartans.
The game took place at Anderson Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Spartans this season.

Drake London has signed a four-year contract extension with the Atlanta Falcons through 2030 valued up to $150 million with $100 million guaranteed. The wide receiver holds multiple franchise records after being drafted eighth overall in 2022.
