Former Alexander High School standout Katelyn Johnston played on Saturday, May 10 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division II Softball Championship

On Saturday, May 10, former Alexander High School standout Katelyn Johnston’s current collegiate team the North Georgia Nighthawks lost 10-6 against the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

The game took place at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium at 12 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears in the tournament.

The North Georgia Nighthawks’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 10 at 5:45 p.m. at Haines & Carolyn Hill Stadium.
