The Atlanta Falcons have added safety Henry Black to their roster, the team announced Thursday ahead of its fifth open training camp practice. The signing comes alongside the release of wide receiver Makai Polk.

Black recently played for the San Antonio Brahmas during the 2025 United Football League (UFL) season, recording 21 tackles over 10 games, including two tackles for loss. His last appearance in an NFL game was in 2021 with the Green Bay Packers. That season, he played all 17 games and contributed on both defense and special teams, tallying 38 tackles, one interception, a forced fumble, and two pass breakups.

During his rookie year in 2020 with Green Bay, Black participated in eight games and made eight tackles while forcing and recovering a fumble. He entered the league as an undrafted free agent from Baylor University.

This marks Black’s second stint with Atlanta. The Falcons previously signed him on July 28, 2022 but released him just over a month later before finalizing their regular-season roster.
