Two Atlanta Falcons offensive linemen, Chris Lindstrom and Matthew Bergeron, are making progress as they recover from lower leg injuries. Both players were listed as limited participants in Thursday’s Thanksgiving practice ahead of the team’s Week 13 game against the New York Jets.
Head coach Raheem Morris addressed the status of starting receiver Drake London on Wednesday. “Raheem Morris said Wednesday that he does not expect starting receiver Drake London to be available for the team’s Week 13 matchup with the New York Jets this Sunday.” London has now missed five consecutive practices due to a PCL sprain in his knee and did not participate in Thursday’s session.
The Falcons’ injury report for Thursday also showed that inside linebacker Malik Verdon was a full participant after dealing with a shoulder issue. Wide receiver KhaDarel Hodge (shoulder) and inside linebacker JD Bertrand (knee) joined Lindstrom and Bergeron as limited participants. Wide receiver Drake London (knee) and inside linebacker Josh Woods (hamstring) did not take part in practice.
Further details on weekly injury reports for both Atlanta and New York can be found through team sources.
