The latest NFL Power Rankings for Week 13 reflect a week of significant changes, as several top teams faced setbacks while others improved their standings. The Colts and Eagles, both previous leaders, suffered losses that affected their positions. Meanwhile, the Texans and Chiefs managed important wins that helped them move up in the rankings.

Matthew Stafford’s performance continues to stand out with 30 touchdowns and only two interceptions this season. “If that isn’t playing like an MVP I don’t know what is,” the report states.

The Patriots matched an NFL record by scoring at least 23 points and allowing no more than 23 in nine consecutive games. According to the ranking author, “The last two teams to have had the same streak? Yeah, they went on to win the Super Bowl (the 1961 Oilers and the 1984 Niners).”

The Broncos are set to play in primetime against the Commanders next Sunday night and are expected to secure their tenth win.

After a strong start at 7-1, the Colts have now lost two of their last three games—all losses occurring on the road with exactly 20 points scored each time.

The Seahawks secured a close win, described as being tighter than they may have preferred. The Eagles lost momentum after leading by 21 points at halftime.

Jordan Love of the Vikings handled pressure well from opponents, averaging more yards per attempt when pressured than when not.

Looking ahead, the Chargers will face off against the Raiders after previously defeating them earlier in the season.

Jahmyr Gibbs rushed for 219 yards during an overtime victory for Detroit over New York—marking one of the highest single-game rushing totals in Lions history.

Houston’s win raised questions about whether Buffalo is struggling this year. The Buccaneers’ playoff hopes have dimmed following four losses in five games since October.

Jacksonville was noted for narrowly winning again. T.J. Watt passed his brother J.J. Watt on career sacks but did not get a victory alongside his achievement.

Patrick Mahomes reached another milestone as he became “the fastest player in NFL history to reach 35,000 career passing yards.” The Chiefs also won their game this week.

Derrick Henry moved into twelfth place on all-time NFL rushing yards while Baltimore extended its winning streak to five games.

Houston’s Trent Brown received recognition for allowing zero pressures against Joey Bosa—a first since at least 2018 for any blocker facing Bosa multiple times in a game.

Dallas achieved a historic comeback: “A historic day for the Cowboys. The team tied a franchise record with their 21-point comeback win.” Dak Prescott became Dallas’ all-time leading passer during this match-up as well.

Miami has opportunities ahead despite starting poorly; upcoming matches could help improve their standing given recent wins over divisional rivals.

“The Falcons needed this win. Oh how they needed it,” notes one entry regarding Atlanta’s recent result—highlighting its importance amid previous struggles. The Saints’ offense was contained by Atlanta’s defense: “And all is right with the world.”

Elsewhere around the league: some teams continued losing streaks while others celebrated individual milestones or narrow defeats against higher-ranked opponents.
