The Atlanta Falcons have signed quarterback Easton Stick, according to an announcement made by the organization on Monday. Stick previously played for the Los Angeles Chargers throughout his entire career since being drafted in 2019.

Easton Stick, known for his record-breaking performance at North Dakota State, enters the Falcons’ roster as a supplemental choice. During his tenure with the Chargers, Stick only appeared in a handful of games, making his most significant contribution in 2023 when he played in five games and started four. In those appearances, he achieved a 63.8% completion rate, while acquiring 1,129 passing yards, scoring three touchdowns, and suffering one interception.

The Falcons’ quarterback roster already features Michael Penix Jr., a recent high draft pick who serves as the starting quarterback, alongside veteran Kirk Cousins and Emory Jones. The Falcons have expressed a readiness to trade Cousins, contingent upon a suitable offer and his agreement to waive a no-trade clause. However, there have been no recent developments.

The team is scheduled to resume activities with players reporting for offseason workouts on Tuesday. The Organized Team Activities are set for late May and early June, and a mandatory minicamp will occur in mid-June.
