On Tuesday, April 8, former East Paulding High School standout Jackson Phipps’ current college team, the Jacksonville State Gamecocks, lost 10-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Georgia State Panthers.

The game took place at GSU Baseball Complex. This was their fourth matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Gamecocks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 11 at 6:30 p.m. at Rudy Abbott Field at Jim Case Stadium against Dallas Baptist Patriots.
