The Atlanta Falcons have unveiled their 2025 NFL schedule, featuring a total of 17 games, including five prime-time matchups and an international game. The announcement comes after the NFL disclosed that the Falcons will face the Indianapolis Colts in Berlin, Germany on November 9 for a Week 10 international game.

The Falcons will kick off their season at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on September 7 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Their first prime-time appearance is scheduled for September 14 against the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Following a bye week in Week 5, which is noted as the earliest possible across the league, the Falcons will play a home game against the Buffalo Bills on October 13. This game marks their second prime-time matchup of the season.

Atlanta’s schedule includes notable divisional games against NFC South rivals such as the Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints. The team faces Carolina twice, with a rematch set for November 16 in Atlanta. They will encounter New Orleans first on November 23 at Caesars Superdome.

In addition to these matchups, the Falcons are slated to play teams like the San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins, and New England Patriots before returning stateside from their international trip.

Prime-time appearances continue with a December 11 game against Tampa Bay and conclude with a December 29 clash against the Los Angeles Rams. Both games are expected to be significant due to past affiliations of key coaching staff members with these teams.

The regular season wraps up with another face-off against New Orleans in Week 18. The exact date and time for this finale will be announced later, depending on how both teams’ seasons progress.

The Falcons also announced three preseason games against Detroit Lions, Tennessee Titans, and Dallas Cowboys.

As per NFL guidelines, “flexible scheduling” may adjust some game times throughout Weeks 5-17 to maximize viewership opportunities during Sunday Night Football and other key slots.
