After making several roster changes on Saturday, the Atlanta Falcons clarified their lineup for the Week 12 game against the New Orleans Saints. The focus was on starting offensive guards Chris Lindstrom and Matthew Bergeron, who have both been dealing with injuries. Bergeron had missed the previous two games, while Lindstrom has also appeared on recent injury reports.

Both players were listed as questionable before Sunday’s matchup but were not included among the team’s inactives. This indicates that both are expected to return to the starting lineup in New Orleans.

On Saturday, the Falcons placed defensive back Billy Bowman Jr. (achilles) and defensive lineman Zach Harrison (knee) on injured reserve. They activated inside linebacker Divine Deablo and signed cornerback Cobee Bryant to the 53-man roster. Additionally, safety Jammie Robinson and wide receiver Dylan Drummond were elevated from the practice squad for this game. Linebacker Malik Verdon was ruled out, while Deablo’s questionable status was removed.

The team had already ruled out starting receiver Drake London due to a PCL strain suffered last week against the Carolina Panthers. Wide receiver Casey Washington was also listed as inactive despite not appearing on any injury report during the week, suggesting he is a healthy scratch.

At quarterback, Kirk Cousins will start for Atlanta with Easton Stick serving as backup.

Michael Penix Jr., who partially tore his left ACL last week, is expected to undergo surgery in Los Angeles this week. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported: “If the nine-month period holds up, Penix could be ready for the start of the 2026 season,” adding that “there are no certainties, especially for players who have injured both ACLs.”

The full list of Falcons’ inactives for Week 12 includes:
– WR Drake London
– RB Nathan Carter
– ILB Josh Woods
– OL Michael Jerrell
– WR Casey Washington
– DL Elijah Garcia
– DL Khalid Kareem
