Atlanta Falcons announce key receiver absences ahead of Week 13 matchup with Jets

The Atlanta Falcons will play the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium on Sunday without three of their wide receivers. Drake London, who has been recovering from a PCL strain, was ruled out earlier in the week and will miss his second consecutive game due to the injury.

KhaDarel Hodge, another receiver, is also inactive for Sunday’s game. Hodge had been dealing with a shoulder injury and participated in practice on Thursday in a limited capacity. Although he did not receive an official game designation on Friday, he was listed as inactive before kickoff.

Casey Washington is a healthy scratch for the second week in a row. Head coach Raheem Morris addressed Washington’s status earlier this week: “Healthy scratch. Obviously, made some decisions on personnel things that we were doing last week. So, he was down,” Morris said. “He wasn’t one of the guys that we relied on to try to win that football game. We’ll see this week where we’re at and what we can do, but he was down last week for sure.”

Chris Lindstrom was the only player listed as questionable on Friday because of a foot injury that has affected him over the past month. He will be active for Sunday’s matchup.

The full list of Falcons players inactive for Week 13 against the Jets includes KhaDarel Hodge, Drake London, Josh Woods (inside linebacker), Michael Jerrell (offensive lineman), Casey Washington, and Elijah Garcia (defensive lineman).
