Atlanta Dream guard Allisha Gray has been named the WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week for games played August 4–10, according to an announcement by the league on Tuesday. This marks Gray’s third Player of the Week award during the 2025 season, making her the first Atlanta Dream player to earn this distinction three times in a single year since 2018.

During that week, Gray averaged 21.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game while shooting 55.6% from the field. The team secured two road wins, defeating both the Chicago Sky and Phoenix Mercury.

On August 7 in Chicago, Gray led all scorers with 25 points and added four rebounds on efficient shooting as Atlanta won 86-65. Three days later against Phoenix, she contributed 17 points, five rebounds, and five assists in a 74-66 victory, again leading her team in scoring. The win over Phoenix pushed Atlanta past 20 victories for only the third time in franchise history.

Gray is having a career-best season and is considered a frontrunner for MVP honors. She is averaging 18.4 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game while ranking among league leaders in several categories including scoring, three-pointers made, win shares, and offensive rating. She was selected as a starter for the WNBA All-Star Game this year and has twice been named Player of the Month during this season. In addition to these accolades, Gray recently became just the 37th player in league history to surpass 400 career three-pointers made.

The Atlanta Dream was established in Atlanta in 2008 as the Southeast’s only WNBA franchise and plays home games at Gateway Center Arena @ College Park. Since its founding, it has produced multiple WNBA All-Stars and playoff appearances (https://dream.wnba.com/about/).
