Atlanta Dream guard Allisha Gray has been recognized as the Kia WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Month for June, according to an announcement by the league. This marks a significant achievement for Gray, as she becomes the first player in Atlanta Dream’s history to receive this award twice within a single season. Additionally, she is the first Eastern Conference player since Elena Delle Donne in 2019 to secure consecutive monthly honors at the start of a season.

Gray’s performance statistics for June include an average of 18.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game. Her shooting accuracy was notable with 45.1% from the field and 41.5% from three-point range, contributing to Atlanta’s 6–4 record for the month. The team currently holds fourth place overall in the WNBA standings as July begins.

The impact of Gray’s performance on Atlanta’s success is evident; the team boasts an 11–2 record this season when Gray scores at least 15 points.

This accolade adds to Gray’s remarkable achievements in her ongoing 2025 campaign. She was recently selected as a starter for the 2025 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game—her first time earning such recognition—and became only the second player in Dream history to be named an All-Star in three consecutive seasons. Furthermore, she is Atlanta’s first All-Star starter since 2018 and topped both Player Vote and Media Vote among all WNBA guards.

In addition to her monthly accolades, Gray has twice been named WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week during Weeks 2 and 4, making her the first Dream player since Tiffany Hayes in 2018 to win multiple weekly awards within a season.

Over the course of 17 games, Gray has maintained averages of 19.5 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game. She leads several statistical categories across the league: Win Shares (3.7), Offensive Win Shares (2.8), and Total Points (322). Notably, she is currently the only player averaging over 19 points per game while maintaining above-40% shooting accuracy from both field goals and three-point attempts.

One highlight from her June performances was achieving a career-high with a 32-point game against Washington on June 15th—a match where she also contributed five rebounds, four assists, and three steals—culminating in a decisive victory for Atlanta by their largest margin since 2014.
